Realtor Chronicles 313 – The Skills That Matter Most Right Now

Realtor Chronicles 313 Training Series

The real estate industry has entered a new era — one where professionalism, communication, negotiation, marketing, and transaction management are no longer optional skills reserved for top producers. They are now the baseline expectation. As the market evolves and consumers become more selective about who they trust, agents who continue investing in their education, branding, and presentation are the ones who will build momentum and long-term careers.

That’s exactly why Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Loft Warehouse is dedicating the next several weeks to three highly practical, business-building training sessions designed to help agents sharpen the skills that directly impact their visibility, confidence, and client experience.

For newer and younger agents especially, training is one of the most powerful ways to compete with experience. The agents who rise quickly are not always the ones who have simply been licensed the longest — they are the ones who are actively learning, adapting, and improving.

Real estate changes constantly. Consumer expectations change. Marketing changes. Contracts change. Technology changes. The advantage belongs to agents who stay curious and committed to growth. After all, experience without continuous learning and professional education is just aging. The agents who consistently sharpen their skills are the ones who stay relevant, valuable, and in demand.

Becoming a Real Estate Magnet

Presented by Catalyst Media Factory

In today’s market, being a great agent is only part of the equation — people also need to notice you, remember you, and feel drawn to your brand. This session is focused on helping agents become more visible and magnetic both online and in person through modern marketing strategies, personal branding, content creation, storytelling, and social media positioning.

Agents will learn how to stand out in a crowded marketplace, attract the right audience organically, and create a consistent presence that builds trust long before a client ever reaches out. Whether you are struggling with what to post, how to present yourself on camera, or how to turn your personality into a recognizable brand, this training is designed to provide practical direction and actionable ideas that agents can begin implementing immediately.

Getting Your Buyer Agency Agreement Signed

Presented by Jan Dijkers, President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Loft Warehouse

On May 29th, company President Jan Dijkers will lead a timely and high-impact training focused on one of the most important conversations in modern real estate: securing a signed buyer agency agreement. As buyer representation standards continue to evolve across the industry, agents who know how to clearly communicate their value and guide clients through the representation process will have a major advantage.

Jan’s session will walk attendees through how to structure a compelling buyer consultation, explain representation with confidence, overcome objections naturally, and create a client experience that builds trust from the beginning. Rather than relying on scripted pressure tactics, this training focuses on professionalism, positioning, and relationship-building — skills that are becoming increasingly essential in today’s market.

The Art of the Closing

Presented by Frank Lucarelli, Account Executive at First American Title

The series continues on June 6th with The Art of the Closing, a special continuing education elective course presented by Frank Lucarelli, Account Executive at First American Title. This one-hour CE training dives deep into the often-overlooked details that separate smooth closings from stressful ones.

From understanding closing documents and preparing clients for settlement day to troubleshooting title issues, coordinating split closings, and identifying red flags before they become emergencies, this session gives agents a behind-the-scenes understanding of how successful transactions actually come together.

The Value of Showing Up

Another major benefit of these trainings is something that often gets overlooked in the age of Zoom calls and social media: real, in-person networking. Some of the best opportunities in real estate happen before and after the formal presentation — during conversations over coffee, while touring the office, or while talking shop with fellow agents after the training wraps up.

At BHHS The Loft Warehouse, our trainings regularly attract a mix of top-producing agents, rising newer professionals, investors, marketers, and people actively building their businesses. Chances are high that you’ll meet colleagues who share similar goals, challenges, interests, and ideas. The relationships formed in these rooms often turn into referral partnerships, collaborations, mentorships, friendships, and future business opportunities.

Complimentary lunches are served after every training courtesy of Frank Lucarelli and First American Title.

We strongly encourage agents to attend in person whenever possible because the networking and live discussion are a huge part of the experience. However, we also understand that schedules, distance, and family obligations can make that difficult. That’s why every session also includes a free Google Meet link for agents who prefer to participate remotely from home or the office.

We simply ask that you RSVP or let us know in advance that you’ll be joining virtually, and that you take a moment afterward to connect with our broker, Sabra Sanzotta, who coordinates and programs all of the live training sessions for the office.

More Than a Friday Training

And while these upcoming events are an important part of our culture, they are only one piece of the broader education ecosystem available to BHHS The Loft Warehouse agents. In addition to our dynamic live training program — which offers professional development topics relevant to realtors nearly every Friday throughout the year, excluding major holidays — we have created multiple systems designed to educate, support, and elevate our agents on demand.

One of those resources is our “Learning Path,” a Google Drive–based curated collection of fast-tracked training modules covering virtually every type of client, transaction, challenge, and workflow agents encounter in the field. These modules are designed to help agents quickly access practical guidance exactly when they need it.

We also provide a ticket-based help desk system where agents can submit deal-related questions and receive support on active transactions, problem-solving scenarios, contracts, strategy, and operations. In addition, BHHS The Loft Warehouse agents have access to four custom-built GPT systems trained on more than 20 years of company knowledge, experience, conversations, and real-world learning.

These proprietary AI tools are designed to help agents think through situations faster, generate ideas, strengthen communication, improve marketing, and gain access to the collective knowledge base of the company at any time of day.
